They were streaming content on Blueface's Kick channel when the incident occurred.  Police swooped in and told everyone to put their hands up. Police arrested Blueface on charges of obstructing an investigation and violating his probation. Hollywood actress Halle Berry has lost a legal request to prevent her 13-year-old son, Maceo Martinez, from testifying in court, regarding their alleged fight at her Los Angeles home. Berry is in the middle of a custody case concerning Maceo, via a petition brought by ex-husband, Olivier Martinez. He accused Halle of choking and wrestling their so, and uttering racially charged statements, such as calling him "a White b*tch" to Maceo. Halle denies the claims via her attorney. Olivier stated Maceo, who is special needs, is traumatized by the alleged fight and no longer wishes to live with his mother. Olivier also stated Maceo wants to testify in court at the custody hearing, which Halle says he is not equipped to do. However, a judge has ruled Maceo can testify in court regarding his mother.

PBS Documentary   The Public Broadcasting Service (PBS) has released a series entitled "After the LA Fires: Rebuilding with Resilience | Earth Focus." The program explores the devastating 2025 Southern California fires that killed 31 people and destroyed more than 18,000 homes and business. Many had no insurance, as they were dropped in the months leading up to the fires. Rebuilding has been a very difficult task. A number of factors were at play regarding the fire. Among them are arson (official arrests have been made and individuals are being prosecuted in courts of law), climate change, uncleared brush, and lack of preparedness on the part of some municipalities, counties and government officials (empty reservoirs and fire hydrants without water, among other issues). Artificial Intelligence (AI) is the subject of much scrutiny and criticism in the public domain due to its proximity to highly unpopular data centers in America, which are consuming far too many resources. AI came to the forefront in 1950 via Alan Turing's published academic paper "Computer Machinery and Intelligence." This year much of the news concerning AI has been negative. I'm not in favor of AI being used for negative or dangerous purposes. However, I'm in favor of AI being used in a positive manner and responsibly. We must consider human impact and the environment in our choices.  Johns Hopkins University in Maryland is using AI to train medical students to become surgeons. The innovative program has tutorials, and provides feedback and correction when errors are made. This is one of the better and more productive applications of AI. The medical and scientific applications of AI are exciting and can save many lives.
