Artificial Intelligence Is Being Used To Teach Medical Students How To Become Surgeons (Video)

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is the subject of much scrutiny and criticism in the public domain due to its proximity to highly unpopular data centers in America, which are consuming far too many resources. AI came to the forefront in 1950 via Alan Turing's published academic paper "Computer Machinery and Intelligence." This year much of the news concerning AI has been negative.

I'm not in favor of AI being used for negative or dangerous purposes. However, I'm in favor of AI being used in a positive manner and responsibly. We must consider human impact and the environment in our choices.

Johns Hopkins University in Maryland is using AI to train medical students to become surgeons. The innovative program has tutorials, and provides feedback and correction when errors are made. This is one of the better and more productive applications of AI. The medical and scientific applications of AI are exciting and can save many lives.
